Halden Festival , Norway 17-26 September 2010
Blowin 'In The Wind is a festival which focuses on contemporary art
and sidewalk paintings with music. We will start on 17 September and end on 26 September. The theme of the festival is the poem Blowin 'in the Wind by Bob Dylan. The artists will then be able to convey what they feel and want to express in relation to the text of this poem. At the same time, we invite children and youth to paint pictures with chalk in the streets on the sidewalks with assigned seats around Halden City. This is something new in Norway. Children and young people should receive a practical initiation to express themselves creatively, in the public spaces. We want to convey the joy of creative expression. Music will be there , too. Many concerts will be held on different days during the festival. |
